By 11:45 a.m. train left Song Do for Pyong Yang. Arrived at Pyong Yang about 4:30 p.m. Met by Rev. Kim Yu Soon, 曹, the General Secretary of Pyong Yang Y.M.C.A. and two others at the station. Went straight to 箕子樓 on an auto and walked about the rest of the p.m. Viewed from 乙密坮 and 浮碧樓, Pyong Yang is no doubt the most beautiful site for a city in Korea. Took supper at 大成館 a restaurant. From thence to Mr. 金得洙's home just in time to wash my face and rush to the Church. I was pretty tired and felt unequal to the task of addressing a big audience. The Pyong Yang friends showed no consideration to a traveler's needs. Went to bed at Mr. Kim's home.

After a good night's rest I got up rather cold―Everything so cold here. Took breakfast at the Attended the 亞鮮旅館. Attended alumni meeting of the former 大成學校 held in the temporary Y.M.C.A. room. I was really moved to see the young men who assembled from various parts of the Province to commemorate the school which is now no more.
