Seoul home. It is a fact there is a clash of policies between 申 and 具 in the Central Y. 申's motto is: "Spend that we may get", while 具 has been living on the plan "Live within our means" 申's plan is a good one if he can get subscriptions to foot the bills. Pity his plan put into unrestricted execution between the latter part of 1919 and 1922 or 23 wiped out the Reserve Fund which had been built up through years of effort. His open handed policy may win the good-will of the staff and show a sign of activity for a time but―who is to finance it? 申 has the majority of the staff on his side and 具 is looking for other job. Too bad!
