Seoul home. Messrs. 馬鍾濡 and 金基台 of Song Do called to ask me to be one of the five men chosen to from a Board of Directors for the future management of the Textile Dept. of Song Do. These five men are to petition the Board of Missions in Nashville to advance ￥200,000.00 at a low rate―say 5 or percent―to pay off the dept of the Textile Dept. on the condition that the loan is to be paid back in ten yearly instalments. Then each of the five men will raise ￥10,000.00 to run the plant. Both 馬 and 金 think they can make a profitable business out of the mill.
