문화재청 한국전통문화대학교(총장 강경환)는 캄보디아 왕립예술대학교(총장 헹 소파디)와 4월 5일 오전 9시(캄보디아 현지시간) 왕립예술대학교에서 문화유산 분야 전문인력 양성 및 교류 증진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.【한국전통문화대학교, 국제문화재교육센터】
양국 문화유산 분야 전문인력 양성 및 교류 증진 위한 업무협약 체결(4.5.)
 
문화재청 한국전통문화대학교(총장 강경환)는 캄보디아 왕립예술대학교(총장 헹 소파디)와 4월 5일 오전 9시(캄보디아 현지시간) 왕립예술대학교에서 문화유산 분야 전문인력 양성 및 교류 증진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
 
양 대학은 지난해 3월 30일 캄보디아 문화예술부와 함께한 온라인 회의에서 문화유산 분야 역량 강화 및 교육훈련 지원, 학술연구 교류 증진을 위한 상호 협력 논의 끝에 협약을 체결하게 되었다.
양 대학은 이번 협약을 계기로 ▲ 연구원 ․ 교직원 ․ 학생 교환, ▲ 문화유산 분야 공동 연구, ▲ 공동 연구 과제(프로젝트) 실행, ▲ 공동 강의, 발표회(세미나) 및 회의 개최 등을 서로 협력해 적극 추진할 것이다.
 
문화재청은 지난 2월 캄보디아 정부기구인 압사라청과 문화유산 분야의 협력을 강화하는 공동 보도문을 발표한 데 이어 이번에 한국전통문화대학교도 캄보디아 왕립예술대학교와 업무협약을 체결함에 따라 양국간 협력 관계를 더욱 공고히 구축할 수 있게 되었다.
 
문화재청 한국전통문화대학교는 이번 협약을 계기로 문화유산 분야 전문가 양성 및 역량 강화 지원을 위해 지속적으로 노력하고, 양국의 문화유산 기관과의 업무 협력도 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
 
Korea National University of Cultural Heritage (President Kang Kyung-hwan) and the Royal University of Fine Arts in Cambodia (President Heng Sophany) will sign a memorandum of understanding on April 5 at 9 a.m. (local time in Cambodia) for enhancing professional students and promoting cultural exchange in the field of cultural heritage.
 
The Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts proposed two universities that the agreement for capacity building and educational training in the field of cultural heritage and for promoting academic and research exchanges during an online meeting on March 30, 2022. After three online meetings between the two universities' working-level staff, they were able to finalize the agreement.
 
Under the agreement, the two universities will actively promote ▲ the exchange of researchers, faculty members, and students, ▲ joint research on cultural heritage, ▲ execution of collaborative research projects, and ▲ joint lectures, seminars, and conferences.
 
Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, in line with the joint press release between the Cultural Heritage Administration and the APSARA Authority, will continue to make efforts to support professional development and capacity building in the field of cultural heritage, while expanding cooperation with cultural heritage institutions in both countries to foster cultural heritage professionals.
 
This agreement is expected to contribute to developing cultural and educational cooperation between Korea and Cambodia and promote greater understanding and appreciation of each other's cultural heritage.
